Dencatistat

Dencatistat is a CTP synthetase 1 (b) inhibitor. CTPS1 is a key rate-limiting enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of UTP to CTP. Dencatistat can be used for research on lymphoma^[1]. IC50 & Target:IC50: ≤0.1 μM (CTPS1)^[1]. In Vitro:Dencatistat selectively inhibits CTPS1, cutting off the intracellular supply of CTP. Lymphocytes mainly rely on CTPS1, while most normal cells and solid tumor cells express both CTPS1 and CTPS2 simultaneously. The effect of using a CTPS1 inhibitor alone is limited. Some solid tumors (such as ovarian cancer) have CTPS2 deficiency (CTPS2-null). For these types of tumors, inhibiting CTPS1 causes cells to completely lose their ability to synthesize CTP, resulting in a "synthetic lethal" effect^[1].
